Mill Hollow Yurt

Dani and I spent this MLK weekend with Cone Enterprises and new friend Jesse. Thanks to Sally Cone for organizing a great weekend.

All parties were able to shirk work duties on Friday and we took off from SLC around 10:00 am. After some shananigans in Kamas we started the hike on the snowpacked road up to "Wolf Creek Pass".

It was a long hike in with beautiful bluebird skies and cold air, but we made it to the yurt before dark. There was great food. Thanks to everyone for their great culinary contributions especially Jesse for hauling the sled.

Back out on Sunday 6.2 more miles, but lighter packs + being a little bit down hill helped a lot.

  1. Nice pics Matt! I like the one of Voytek airborne, he looks like he's flying. Excellent trip, let's do it again sometime!
